It is not easy to be a star. You are going to be trolled and abused for every single thing you do and there is nothing worse being a star kid. People are going to judge in whatever they do and they don’t understand that the things would take a toll on the stars. Hey, they are human too.
In a recent interview to a daily, actress-Singer Shruti Haasan revealed how difficult it was for her to overcome all the trolls.
She said: “Honestly, I have not been mocked down recently, but there are a lot of people who say ‘oh she is getting married, ‘she has become fat,’ all of this. At that point, it really hurts because I knew I had health issues. I knew that I have never ever taken enough time in 10 years to take care of myself, and every human being deserves that. I needed some love, silence and self-introspection to be really me.”
However, the actress started handling criticism right and made sure to put her life and mind as her priority.
“I have got a lot of criticism and it doesn’t bother me anymore, but I realise that for everybody, their own life is the most important thing. In that case, my own life is the most important thing for me,” she added.
On the work front, Shruti has signed her first American project, ABC Network’s Treadstone. Shruti will also be seen alongside Vijay Sethupathi in a movie named Laabam.
