According to sources, Samantha Akkineni has signed on to star in a film which will be a remake of ‘Miss Granny’, a 2014 Korean film about a woman in her 70s who magically finds herself in the body of her 20-year-old self after having her picture taken at a mysterious photo studio. The film was a runaway success when it had released four years ago.
The actress might just play the role of the young woman and the character of the old lady might be played by some other actress. Samantha is yet to confirm the same.
On the work front, the actress has Super Deluxe which features Vijay Sethupathi as transgender and a movie with her husband Naga Chaitanya.
