Robo Shankar’s huge reward for Asian champion Gomathi Marimuthu!

Gomathi Marimuthu, who made us all proud by winning the Gold medal in the Asian Athletic Championships held at Doha. The 31-year-old hails from a small village in Trichy and she is the last of the four children of her family. The athlete also lost her father recently.

Gomathi who works in an Income Tax office in Bangalore used to live in a house which is not even enough carry her medals and her mother works in fields.

After her victory, many celebrities and personalities including TN Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy congratulated her for the run.

Now, one of the best comedians right now in Kollywood, Robo Shankar has promised to reward Gomathi with 1 Lakh rupees. Robo Shankar has said that since he comes from a family with weak economic background, he can understand her plight, and said that it’s a huge achievement that Gomathi had worked hard and succeeded despite losing her father and not losing her confidence.
