Baahubali heartthrob Rana Daggubati was in the news recently when reports of him getting a kidney transplant went viral on social media. It was even speculated that his mother Lakshmi Daggubati was his donor and that the operation was a successful one. Even when the actor tried to put an end to rumors regarding his health, it didn’t seem to stop at all. The actor has issued a statement regarding the kidney transplant rumours.
The actor stated that “I think there was enough speculated about it, and I am tired of clarifying too that I am absolutely fine and healthy. So I think rumors on my health are now a boring topic. Whenever I leave Hyderabad, people get apprehensive, but I am thankful for the love and the concern people have been showering on me.”
He further added that he is currently in the US overseeing the post-production work on his upcoming flick Hiranyakashyapa. Speaking about being part of a mythological film, he stated, “The film will be made on a lavish scale, and I came to the US to work on the film’s pre-visualisation concepts with various VFX companies.” He is currently juggling between Virata Parvam and is also co-producing a biopic on legendary Srilankan bowler Muthaiah Muralitharan.
