Khushi Kapoor reveals how Sridevi reacted when she found out about her tattoo

Actress Sridevi who was married to Boney Kapoor had two daughters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. While Janhvi Kapoor has made her debut in Bollywood, Khushi Kapoor is already a popular face among paparazzi.

Khushi Kapoor, who loves tattoos and have a quite a few to flaunt, she remembers how her mother reacted when she came to know about her first tattoo, which was the birthdates of Sridevi, Boney Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor inscribed on her upper left midriff.

Appearing on the chat show recently, Khushi revealed that Sridevi found out about her tattoo by accident.

“I didn’t tell mom and dad where I got it. She found out because she was on Instagram and she saw a picture of me and a friend of mine and I was wearing a low-cut T-shirt. She was like, ‘Khushi! Did you get a tattoo?’ And I had not told her. I had just asked her, ‘Can I get one?’ She was like, ‘No, you’re not.'”

Sridevi was worried that Khushi’s tattoo may have something to do with a boy that she was interested in. In fact, she even asked Janhvi for confirmation that it was actually not a boy’s name or his birthdate.

Janhvi, who was also on the show with Khushi, said that Sridevi “got really emotional” when she was told that the tattoo was of all of their birthdates but that was shortlived. “For a minute, she got really emotional but then she got really suspicious. Like, ‘Are you sure it’s not some boy’s birth date or something?'”

Eventually, Khushi did not get into any kind of trouble with Sridevi for getting the tattoo. “We could laugh about it,” the 18-year-old said.

Meanwhile, Khushi wants to be an actress, just like her sister Janhvi, but fans will have to wait for her Bollywood debut. “People tell me when I’m going to debut, so it’s fun to hear about it. I mean, I’m still in school so obviously, it’s something that I have thought of but it’s not something that is happening right now,” she said.
