India’s Rahi Sarnobat became the sixth Indian to secure 2020 Tokyo Olympic berth as Sarnobat wins Gold for India in the Women’s 25m pistol at the season’s third International Shooting Sport Federation World Cup in Munich on Monday.
Sarnobat won 37 shots out of 50 to win the third Gold after Saurabh Chaudary and Apurvi Chandela.
She was the first Indian woman to qualify for the Olympics in 2012 when she made it to the London through Olympics quota. However, she had to miss out the 2016 Olympics due to injury. Now that she is back, it is exciting times for India.
So far, Six Indians have qualified for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
