Plot: Raghu (Dhanush) falls in love with Lekha (Megha Akash), and their love goes well until the entry of Senthil Veerasamy who has control over Lekha. Also, there is a dispute between him and Raghu’s brother (Sasikumar). Can Raghu overcome the chaos and reunite with Lekha?
This forms the crux of the story.
Review: First of all, the credits go to Vels Film International for releasing the movie after chaos. It was such a hell of a ride for Gautham Menon. The movie which was supposed to be released in 2017 comes after two years, and there are a few scenes where you can feel the delay. Keeping them all aside, the movie is a decent entertainer with some good performances.
To start with, Dhanush. The actor once again grabs all the attention and has held the movie together with ease. Also, the female lead Megha Akash who would have made her Tamil debut through this movie, done her part well as a vulnerable girl who is in love.
The other characters like Senthil, Sasikumar, Sunaina helped the movie well by producing a strong performance.
We are all hooked to Darbuka Siva’s music even before the release of the movie, and he did not let us down. His music worked well with the cinematography.
The first half of the movie is fun and lovable whereas the second half moves at a fair pace, and might not work for all. The movie, however, keeps us engaging, thanks to Dhanush.
On the whole, the movie is watchable because of Dhanush’s brilliance. Otherwise, the plot is almost predictable with GVM’s cliche.
