According to This professor, “Virgin brides are like Sealed bottles.”

For ages, women are compared to many things, but we can understand that those comparisons were made by some illiterates back then. But be in such a noble profession where they are placed in the third position which is after mother and father and before the Almighty and talking or giving some Rubbish opinion is not acceptable.
A university professor recently posted his opinion on “Virginity” and according to him, “Virgin girl is like a sealed bottle.” Like wow! How can a professor have such thoughts about virginity and especially girls? He should be the role model for telling the difference between what is wrong and what is right. Passing such comment makes all of us look down on such a noble profession.
It is said that “one rotten fish can contaminate the entire pond” this is perfectly applicable for this professor from Jadavpur University.
According to TOI, Kanak Sarkar, a Jadavpur University Professor, Department of IR, wrote a piece on ‘Virgin Brides’ for ‘value-oriented social counselling for educated youth’. He rhetorically asked the readers whether they’ll be ‘willing to buy a broken seal while purchasing a bottle of cold drink or a packet of biscuits’?

According to News 18, the professor explained himself by quoting Section 66A and the right to freedom to express his opinions. He also seemed to believe that he’s truly adding to society’s well-being by expressing his objectifying and misogynistic opinions.
“I write my personal opinion. Supreme Court has repealed section 66 A of IT Act and given freedom of expression in Social Media… I am doing social research and writing for the good and well-being of Society.
It is true that we have the Right to Express, but such thoughts and opinion are not allowed, acceptable Sir!
