In an official T20I match, Kwibuka World T20 tournament, a team from Mali managed to score just six runs against Rwanda women. In that six runs, five of them were extras including two byes, one wide and two leg byes.
The opener Mariam Samake top-scored for the team with one run. For Rwanda, all the four bowlers used picked up at least one wicket with Josiane picking up three.
Chasing the total, Rwanda women finished it off in four deliveries.
The tournament consists of four teams- Uganda, Rwanda, Mali and Tanzania.
This is now the lowest score in an official Women’s T20 match. The previous lowest score was 14 by China Women against UAE earlier this year.
