12-year-old boy Designed ship to clean ocean

Kids these days are so unpredictable, which is good in a way. Why? Because we never had opportunities which they are getting today. With advancement in technology, education and other various fields now kids have wide space of options. And it is more amazing when some kids are gifted.

One such gift to the mankind is HaaziqKazi, 12-year-old boy from Pune, who designed a ship which will help to clean the ocean and marine life. HaaziqKazi is a child who not only made his parents proud but also made the entire nation proud. He got opportunities to present his idea in many international platforms such as TedEx, Ted8 and was also appreciated by many scholars and organizations.

Talking to ANI, HaaziqKazi said: “I watched some documentaries and realised the impact waste has on marine life. I felt I had to do something. The fish we eat in food are eating plastic in the ocean so the cycle of pollution comes to us and that is even affecting human lives. Hence, I came up with ERVIS.”

Explaining about the functions and features of ERVIS, Haaziq said: “The saucers use centripetal force to suck in the waste, which is then segregated between water, marine life and waste. Marine life and water are sent back to the ocean, while the waste is segregated into five more parts.”
This idea came up in his mind when it was just 9-year-old. JUST NINE! We used to play or watch cartoon and kids nowadays are thinking of such noble deeds. Surely! The up-coming gen will bring change in a massive count.
We are certainly very proud of you, Haaziq and also his parents who are supporting him with his decisions.
